What is MUN?

Model United Nations is an academic activity that simulates the workings of the United Nations. It brings students from all over the world together to debate real-world issues, negotiate resolutions and develop diplomatic and rhetorical skills.

With Styria as Austria’s techological heartland, GrazMUN trains the next generation of leaders to bridge the gap between technology and diplomacy.

Through UN debate simulations held on campus, you step into the role of a country, negotiate from its perspective and build the rhetoric and public speaking skills that stay with you throughout your career. No experience needed, just curiosity and fun.

Growing up in my home country meant experiencing the reality of political corruption. As throughout many crises in our history, the only way forward is to give young, intelligent minds a strong voice so they can pave the way to a better future. This is the goal we pursue with our MUN Society.
