Our vision is to build a community of young people who seek to understand the complexity behind the decisions that shape our world. Through debate, dialogue and direct engagement with industry, we aim to cultivate informed, capable leaders.

We hold sessions regularly where we step into the roles of different countries around the world, challenging and understanding perspectives that aren’t our own. We learn how to speak publicly with confidence (no prior experience needed, we welcome all skill levels) and we learn about the UN, its structure and its rules of procedure.

We also visit companies and political institutions to see decisions being made firsthand and we invite guest speakers with geopolitical and technological insight to share their perspective with us. At the same time, we welcome members to initiate and lead their own passion projects.

We believe that capable leaders must also be principled ones, so we encourage every member to weigh decisions not only by their economic and political impact, but by their human and environmental impact too.

Beyond debate, we are a community of friends. We connect through fun socials. We build each other up through empathy and reflection. And we grow through and with MUN.
